It was Sunday Times!
One of Cork’s leading and longest running club nights, Sunday Times has been a dancing institution on Leeside and further afield since June 2009, starting in the humble An Réalt Dearg bar on Barrack St where I was pulling pints at the time.
In the years since I have been lucky enough to have been involved in everything from the setting up of the DJ booth, to the booking of acts to, you guessed it, the design side of things. I even got to DJ at it once.
Here you will see a selection of artwork showing how I have adapted the design and look of the night since around 2013.
2019

2018
After a hiatus of 2 years or so I am back at the helm of creating artwork for Sunday Times, reverting initially to a photography based design and latterly a more typographic and illustrative style.
2015/2016
Back to the red, and the introduction of a more minimalist and illustrative style, as well as a new typeface, to tie in with the Sunday Times new home of The Bowery roof garden on Tuckey St, now Tip Top.
